Casablanca is the economic and financial capital of Morocco with more than 5 million inhabitants. Its initiated name in Berber / Amazigh language was Anfa.

When the Portuguese conquered the city in the 15th Century, they named it Casa Branca, meaning “White House », but during the French colonial period, the term became Casablanca and later on A-ddar Al Baidaa in Arabic.

The city is a well known destination for business and leisure tourism thanks to its developed urban infrastructure. Best places to visit are : Hassan II Mosque (The 3rd largest Mosque in the word), the Habous district, Mohammed V square, the United nation square and the beautiful corniche by the atlantic ocean.
